The Essential English Centre is excited to announce its new Intensive Cambridge Programme for students preparing for the Cambridge First (B2) and Cambridge Advanced (C1) exams, starting in January 2026.
The course will be available at our school in Manchester to individuals and groups aged 16 and above. Furthermore, the courses will be available all-year-round with start dates every Monday.
Course Structure and Quality Assurance
This intensive course is structured to ensure students have comprehensive preparation for the exam:
- Schedule: Students will attend morning and afternoon classes, totalling 22.5 hours/30 lessons of face to face instruction per week.
- Focus: Under the guidance of our carefully trained teachers, the course will systematically develop all four core skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), with dedicated time for relevant grammar, vocabulary, topics, and real-time exam practice.
- Authorised Cambridge English Preparation Centre: As an authorised Cambridge preparation centre, our Academic Management team has worked directly with the team at Cambridge University Press and Assessment in the UK to design the courses. This partnership ensures the use of the most current materials and techniques, integrating online exam practice into interactive, in-person lessons.
Students enrolling in the intensive programme will also receive valuable resources to support their studies outside the classroom. All students will receive free access to official Cambridge self-study and exam practice materials for up to 12 months after the course ends. This resource allows students to practice anytime and anywhere via their mobile, tablet, or other device.
