Jonathan Swindell

Chief Executive

I was appointed as Chief Executive in early 2016. Throughout my career within the Education sector, I have always strived to maintain and promote the highest standards wherever I have worked. Firstly, with the General Teaching Council which served to regulate teaching in England and subsequently in my role with the Association of Business Executives (an international examination board and membership body) where I worked closely with private colleges all over the world.

When working at the University of Reading I was introduced to the world of ELT and all its challenges and threats, but I was soon captivated by this incredible industry. Its a world full of passionate professionals that never ceases to surprise and excite.

As Chief Executive, it is my role to maintain the high standards of Quality English (QE), always ensuring that our licensed schools and colleges meet the high expectations of international students and their parents.

The QE team is always on hand to support our licensed schools and it is both an honour and a priviledge to be able to travel with world with such wonderful colleagues.

Kathi Gerth

Marketing and Operations Manager

After six years as Marketing and Operations Manager at Atlas Language School – one of Dublin’s largest independent language schools – I joined Quality English as Marketing and Operations Manager in 2019.

Having frequently encountered Quality English at industry events, I was always intrigued by their work and the dynamic relationships they foster between schools and agents. Today, I lead both online and offline marketing efforts, organise QE e-Missions (virtual events) and QE Missions (in-person events), and drive product development and process improvements. I also promote our growing network of Associate Schools.

With a background in education and extensive experience working with schools, agents, and students, I bring a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of all stakeholders involved.

Romy Martin

Digital Marketing Manager

I have over 20 years of experience in the marketing industry, developing and executing strategies that have driven the success of numerous campaigns. My strong academic background in Marketing, Product Development, Project Management, and Account Management has provided me with a solid foundation, and I have worked with a wide range of associations and brands.

I joined Quality English in 2024, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I especially enjoy connecting with our member schools and colleges around the world, providing up-to-date resources, marketing assets, and innovative digital and AI solutions to support their growth.
