Agent Associations

Quality English is working closely with the below agent associations to promote and strengthen cooperation, coordination and support between these associations and Quality English.

The agent associations and their member agencies share the same quality standards as Quality English and are regularly attending Quality English ‘missions’ (workshops) both online and offline.


ABELIO – Association of Belgian Education & Language Immersion Operators 

ABELIO is a Brussels‑based non-profit founded in 2017. It represents Belgian organisations that offer language immersion and educational travel programmes, both abroad and within Belgium. ABELIO’s mission is to unite industry members under a common quality charter, enabling collective marketing, public outreach, and engagement with Belgian authorities to promote youth mobility and intercultural learning. As the Belgian representative within the global FELCA network, ABELIO helps set standards for professional conduct and ensures member agencies follow ethical and regulatory best practices.

AMTE – Asociación Mexicana de Turismo Educativo 

AMTE is a non‑profit organization founded in 2012, based in Mexico City. It represents leading educational travel agencies, internationally recognised schools, diplomatic missions, and service providers active in international education. AMTE’s mission is to promote a culture of international education and professionalize the industry through collaboration across stakeholders. In 2023, AMTE was honored as the “ST Star Agency Association”, the top global association in Study Travel Awards.

ANEX – Asociación Nacional de Empresas para Estudios en el Exterior

ANEX is a non-profit organisation founded in 2001 and based in Bogotá. It brings together Colombian educational agencies that promote and manage study abroad programmes. ANEX sets ethical and professional standards for its members, aiming to ensure transparency, quality service, and student protection. By uniting reputable agencies, ANEX fosters collaboration, continuous training, and best practices within the industry.

ARSAA – Asociación Argentina de Estudios en el Exterior 

ARSAA is a Buenos Aires–based non‑profit, founded in 2016, that promotes the development of international education and cultural exchange between Argentina and the rest of the world. ARSAA sets quality and professionalism standards for member agents, consultants, and educational institutions involved in study-abroad programmes. With over 20 active agencies and a growing membership base, it offers collaboration, training, and public advocacy. For prospective students, choosing an ARSAA-affiliated agency ensures higher transparency and industry-standard practices when studying abroad.

ASEPROCE – Asociación Española de Promotores de Cursos en el Extranjero 

ASEPROCE is a Madrid‑based non‑profit association, founded in 1987, dedicated to promoting quality and professionalism among Spanish companies that organise language and educational programmes abroad. Its hallmark, the ASEPROCE Standard, is a quality seal assuring families, students, and professionals of transparent, legal, and high‑standard services. With over 65 (up to ~70) member organisations across Spain, it offers services such as information/advice, conflict mediation, legal support, and industry seminars.

BELTA – Associação Brasileira de Agências de Intercâmbio 

ELTA is a non‑profit organisation founded on July 1, 1992, headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. It unites the leading Brazilian agencies that offer study, internship, and language travel programmes abroad. BELTA certifies agencies through its “Selo BELTA”, awarded after rigorous financial, technical, and integrity assessments; member agencies represent around 70% of Brazil’s international education market. 

BELTA engages in activities like annual industry surveys (Pesquisa Selo BELTA), educational seminars, online forums, workshops, fairs, and guides for students and families. It is a member of FELCA and has earned multiple international accolades, including induction into the STM Star Awards Hall of Fame after winning the top StudyTravel association award five times.

IALCA – Associazione Italiana degli Agenti e dei Consulenti Linguistici 

IALCA is a non-profit organisation established in 1997 and based in Rome. It represents Italian professionals who advise and organise international language and study-abroad programmes. IALCA works to raise industry standards by promoting ethical conduct, transparent services, and quality assurance across all stages of the student experience – before departure, during the course, and after completion. Members are held to a strict code of ethics and regularly assess partner schools. IALCA is also Italy’s official representative within FELCA and received global recognition by winning the ST Star Agency Association Award in 2018.

JAOS – Japan Association of Overseas Studies 

JAOS was founded in 1991 and officially recognised by the Japanese government in 2008 as a General Incorporated Association. Based in Tokyo, JAOS brings together both private agencies and public institutions – including organisations like the British Council – to advance ethical standards and quality in Japan’s study-abroad industry. It provides certified training programmess for study-abroad counselors and enforces a robust code of practice to support Japanese students in planning safe overseas experiences.  As Japan’s official member of FELCA, JAOS also serves as a bridge between Japanese and international educational institutions. In recent years, outbound student numbers have rebounded strongly – recovering to ~83% of pre‑COVID levels in 2023 – reflecting JAOS’s vital role in promoting safe and dynamic mobility.

TIECA – Thai International Education Consultants Association 

TIECA is a non‑profit organisation founded on May 10, 1990, in Bangkok, Thailand. Initially known as the Educational Consultants Group of Thailand (ECT), it was officially recognized as TIECA on September 11, 1997. 

TIECA serves as Thailand’s sole professional association for education agents, currently comprising 73 active members. The association is dedicated to maintaining high standards in educational counseling, safeguarding student rights, and promoting overseas study in alignment with government policies. 

TIECA is a member of the Federation of Education and Language Consultant Associations (FELCA) and collaborates with international institutions to enhance educational opportunities for Thai students.

UED – Uluslararasi Egitim Danismanlari Dernegi 

UED is a non‑profit organisation founded in May 2001 by 15 reputable overseas education consultancy agencies. UED has grown to include 37 member agencies across the country, all committed to providing high-quality, reliable, and ethical services in international education consulting.  

The association has been recognised globally, winning the StudyTravel Magazine Star Agency Association Award five times (2013, 2015, 2016, 2022, and 2024), marking it as the first Turkish organization to receive this honor.  

UED’s mission is to promote international education among Turkish students, ensuring they receive guidance from trusted and professional study travel agencies. The association offers a platform for its members to collaborate, share best practices, and uphold industry standards. Through its efforts, UED aims to enhance the quality of overseas education consulting in Turkey and support students in making informed decisions about studying abroad.
