Cork English College has announced an exciting new addition to its 2026 course offerings with the launch of the CEC 50+ Programme, a specially designed experience for mature learners seeking to improve their English while enjoying Ireland’s culture, history, and warm hospitality.
Running on selected dates from March to August 2026, the one-week programme blends 20 hours of English tuition with a rich calendar of social, cultural, and sightseeing activities. With small classes of just 6–8 students, participants benefit from personalised attention and a relaxed, friendly learning environment.
The course is tailored for learners aged 50 and above who want to enhance their language skills while discovering one of Ireland’s most vibrant cities. Afternoon and evening activities include guided cultural tours, Irish music and dancing, visits to iconic locations such as Nano Nagle Place and the Jameson Distillery, and a full-day excursion to Killarney National Park.
Students also receive access to CEC’s e-learning platform, a welcome pack, certificates, and 24-hour support, with a range of accommodation options available.
With its mix of structured learning and memorable experiences, the CEC 50+ Programme offers an ideal opportunity for mature students to connect, explore, and learn in the heart of Cork.
