Country Cousins is the only English Language School in the World with a BRITISH COUNCIL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE.

We are a family business specialist Juniors English School in North Devon, on the coast of Southwest of England, established in 1951.

In 2014, we won the British Council’s ELTon award for Local Innovation, for our PALS scheme. We integrate local teenagers in our activities with our foreign students, it has proved very successful.

Our boutique school is open all year (students staying with carefully selected Host Families), and have our own fleet of buses. We are between Exmoor National Park and Woolacombe beach (voted best beach in the UK by TripAdvisor for the last 5 years). This is an ideal environment for children to enjoy our activity programmes by the seaside, such as Adventure Sports, Ball Sports, Beach Volleyball, Riding, Tennis, Dance, Water Sports & Surfing.
